One of the reasons we were crocheting so late into the night at ACen was because we were working on commissions from people at the con!  We managed to make a Squirtle and a whale in the span of 4 hours, pictured here.

Here’s our rendition of a (non-Cthulhufied) Pikachu!  Ah, classic.

Pikachu + Cthulhu = Pikathulhu!  Inspiration from this image, though it seems another geeky crocheter has also rendered Pikathulhu in crochet (Here).

(Take 1)

Bossa nova makes everything better.

That poor Oddish never stood a chance.

TUMBLR, I CHOOSE YOU.

TUMBLR, I CHOOSE YOU.

"So I herd u liek…"
I’m not entirely clear on how the whole mudkipz meme got started (a certain, rather vulgar piece of copypasta, perhaps?), but whatever its origins, the Mudkip is one of the most referenced, well-recognized and (dare I say) beloved memes on the internet.  Come on, how can you resist those ridiculous orange face flaps?
At any rate, I made my crocheted Mudkip in response to a friend’s request (“lolz maek me a mudkipz lolol”).  Here, you see the finished result!  Except for limbs.  Who needs limbs.
So, if you’d like to possess this here critter for the low, low price of $15, send us an email at theknotfactory@gmail.com! (And please reblog!)

A wild Oddish appeared!
This little guy was a result of an idea we had: to crochet little models of all 150 of the entire set of original Pokemon.  But then reason overcame ambition, and we realized we simply didn’t have the time, energy, or resources to perform such an elaborate task, as awesome as it would have been. (I’m sure at least one crazy crocheter out there has done it. Maybe.)  So, we settled on just picking a few of our favorite Pokemon to crochet.
Obviously, Oddish is one of my favorite Pokemon.  Because it’s just so…odd.  And adorable, in its little spherical way.  And incidentally, easy to crochet, which was ideal for my first crochet project!  Which this was.
If you would like to buy an Oddish for a mere $12, shoot us an email at theknotfactory@gmail.com!  (And please reblog!)
